WordishTerms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Wordish covering your use of the Wordish app. By using the app, you agree to them.
Using Wordish
Wordish grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own vocabulary learning. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt or misuse the app or its content.
Our content
The words, definitions, examples, notes, quizzes, artwork, and the Wordish name and logo are owned by Wordish or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. They're provided for your personal learning and may not be redistributed or used to build a competing product.
Subscriptions & billing
Wordish offers optional subscriptions that unlock premium features, sometimes with a free trial. All purchases are handled by Apple through your App Store account:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your App Store account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Wordish lawfully and not to interfere with its normal operation, access it through unauthorised means, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Availability & changes
We're always improving Wordish, so features may change, and the app may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.
Disclaimers
Wordish is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard on the accuracy of our content, we don't warrant that it is error-free or that the app will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wordish will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the revised terms.
